Carrying spare batteries and electronic cigarettes in checked baggage is strictly prohibited. All devices with lithium batteries must be carried on your person.

Any spare battery must be insulated to prevent accidental short circuits:
✅ Place it in a plastic bag or protective case
✅ Cover the terminals with electrical tape
✅ Use a protective cap on the terminals
Up to 100 Wh — no approval required, just present the battery at the security check.
100–160 Wh — prior airline approval is required (must be arranged in advance) and a sticker must be obtained at check-in.
⚠️ Without the sticker, the battery may not be allowed on board!
Keep batteries with you: in your bag or in the seat pocket in front of you.
Do not place them in the overhead compartment.
Do not charge batteries or e-cigarettes during the flight.
If a device overheats — notify the crew immediately.
Allowed only in carry-on luggage or on your person (e.g., in a pocket).
Not allowed in checked baggage.
Use and charging are prohibited during the flight.
Violation of the rules may result in:
- denial of boarding,
- confiscation of devices during inspection,
- threat to safety during flight.
