Blue Line (Monorail and Seashore train)
Haeundae Blue Line is a scenic route along the coastline, starting in the Haeundae area. Travelers have two transportation options: a capsule (monorail) from Mipo Station in Haeundae to Cheongsapo Port, or a train with seats arranged parallel to the tracks instead of perpendicular, providing better views of the sea.
The cost of the capsule is 35,000 won for 2 people to 50,000 won for 4 people one way; the train makes several stops, so the pricing system is slightly different: 7,000 won for one trip, 12,000 won for two, and 16,000 won for three.
There are also combined tickets (capsule + train).
The route has convenient stops where you can get off and explore the surroundings. Along the way, you’ll find many cafes and restaurants offering local delicacies.
In particular, near Cheongsapo Port, you’ll discover numerous restaurants serving various grilled shellfish.
The Blue Line is the perfect way to enjoy the atmosphere of Busan and discover its amazing corners. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture unforgettable moments!

Piggy Bistro
A small bistro with European/American cuisine, particularly popular among food lovers.
Haeundae Obok Dwaeji-gukbap Restaurant
Traditional Busan pork-and-rice soup.

Cheong Mong Short Ribs 청몽쪽갈비
"Chchok-kalbi" means "pork ribs" from the part of the pig that is closer to the head.
In front of you, there is a hole in the table where, at a certain point, a bucket with burning coals is placed. You (personally) grill the pork ribs on it.
This establishment offers "ribs with salt," "ribs marinated in soy sauce," and "ribs in spicy sauce" (the menu indicates the spiciness level in percentages; 10% is quite sufficient).
When you order ribs, you will also be served a small piece of pork skin, which is also grilled, cut into strips with scissors, and eaten. If you like it, you can order more pork skin.
We recommend trying the local "doenjang-jjigae" (soybean paste soup with vegetables) as a complement to the main dish.
DAISO Busan Haeundae
Daiso is a Japanese company that operates numerous "100-yen shops." This company is also popular among Koreans. Of course, you can find a Daiso branch in the Haeundae area as well.
