Gwangyang Maehwa Festival

The Gwangyang Plum Blossom Festival celebrates the beginning of spring when plum trees begin to bloom, covering the landscape in bright white and pink hues. Gurye Cornus officinalis Flower Festival

Lotus Lantern Festival

The festival celebrating Buddha's Birthday is known in South Korea as Bucheonim osin nal. This festival is one of the most important religious events in the country and is celebrated with large-scale public festivities.

Muan Lotus Festival

The festival began in 1997 and is held annually in the summer in the Hyesan Baeknyeonji area of ​​Bonyeong Village, Illo County. Among the green lotus leaves, you can see the snow-white lotus flowers revealing their purity, and enjoy various activities and the romance of summer against the backdrop of the beautiful Far Eastern nature.
