June 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months in K-pop — and if you're planning a trip to Korea, it's the perfect window to catch a live performance or two. Two major events land in the same week, both within easy reach of Seoul.

35th Seoul Music Awards — June 20, INSPIRE Arena

The 35th Seoul Music Awards (서울가요대상) is one of K-pop's most prestigious ceremonies, now in its fourth decade. It's not just a trophy night — artists deliver special live stages, and the atmosphere inside the arena is electric.

  • Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
  • Venue: INSPIRE Arena (인스파이어 아레나), Incheon — one of Korea's largest indoor arenas
  • Confirmed artists: DAYOUNG, BOYNEXTDOOR, KiiKii, CLOSE YOUR EYES, Dragon Pony, and more
  • Tickets: floor-standing or 2nd-floor seated options

INSPIRE Arena is located near Incheon International Airport, which actually makes it very convenient if you're arriving in Korea on or around June 20 — you can head straight from the airport to the show.

MyK LIVE K-pop Concert — June 26 & 27, KINTEX

The MyK LIVE concert is part of the MyK Festa 2026 series and takes place at KINTEX 1 Exhibition Hall (킨텍스 제1전시관) in Ilsan — a venue large enough to host the kind of all-day, multi-act K-pop experience that fans travel across the world to see.

Two separate days, two separate lineups — you can choose one or go to both:

June 26 (Friday)
TREASURE · RIIZE · Hearts2Hearts · P1Harmony · tripleS · EVNNE · and more

June 27 (Saturday)
ZEROBASEONE · IZNA · HIGHLIGHT · Wendy · KickFlip · EPEX · and more

  • Tickets: floor-standing or 2nd-floor seated
  • Extras included: round-trip transportation, English-speaking staff, and an optional Seoul City Tour or Han River Cruise on the day

KINTEX (킨텍스) is in Goyang (고양시), about 40 minutes from central Seoul by subway (Daehwa station, line 3). The venue is massive — it regularly hosts international trade shows — so the concert production scale matches.

Practical tips for K-pop concert trips

Book accommodation early. Both venues draw fans from across Asia and beyond. Hotels near Hongdae (홍대), Mapo (마포), or near KINTEX itself fill up quickly for big concert weekends.

Choose your ticket type wisely. Floor-standing tickets put you closest to the stage and create the most intense fan atmosphere — but you'll be on your feet for hours. Seated 2nd-floor tickets offer better sightlines and a more relaxed experience.

Get to the venue early. Korean concert culture rewards early arrivals — fan goods booths, photo zones, and light stick purchases all happen before the show and lines move fast.

Combine with sightseeing. The gap between June 20 and June 26 gives you nearly a week in Korea. Enough time for a day in Gyeongju (경주), a morning at Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을), or a proper street food tour of Gwangjang Market (광장시장).

We love helping travelers build itineraries around concerts — it's one of the most energetic ways to experience Korea, and June is a beautiful month to be here before the summer heat peaks.
