A Winter Wonderland in the Heart of the City
Today, Seoul was blanketed in its first snowfall of the season. The city, still adorned with autumn leaves, transformed into a picturesque winter wonderland. Residents and tourists alike took to the streets to capture the beauty of the snow-covered landscape.
The Seoul Light DDP 2024 Winter event will take place from December 19 to December 31, 2024, at the DDP's main plaza and design street. Visitors can enjoy the light displays from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The event is free of charge.
Join the New Year's countdown at the Seoul Light DDP from December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025. The event will be held from 11:00 PM to 1:30 AM at the DDP's main plaza and design street. Admission is free.
The Seoul Tourism Organization announced that the 2024 Seoul Lantern Festival will be held from November 13, 2024, to January 12, 2025, along the Cheonggyecheon Stream from Cheonggye Plaza to Samil Bridge. Last year's festival attracted 3.12 million visitors and achieved a 91% satisfaction rate.
Celebrating its 16th anniversary, the festival will return to Cheonggyecheon, reinforcing its identity with the theme 'SOUL LANTERN: Play with the light of SEOUL'.
