Kimchikan (Kimchi Museum)

There are several kan's in Korean cuisine: chankan - a place for traditional sauces, snacks; surakan - a place for cooking royal cuisine; closet for food storage - kotkan.

The museum borrowed this part of the word and added as a suffix to the name of the most famous Korean snack - kimchi.

Here you will get answers to questions: why do Koreans need kimchi; how did kimchi cooking technology come about; what types of kimchi exist in nature; What are the health benefits of kimchi?

Kimchi is pickled (fermented) vegetables; the most famous variant is Chinese cabbage kimchi.

The most enjoyable moment in visiting this unusual museum is the interactive kimchi cooking workshop! Together with the master, we will not only get acquainted with the process, but also take a direct part in the preparation of kimchi; we take the prepared product with us!

Unforgettable experiences guaranteed!
