What stays with you

The sun has set in Seoul. Traffic is being blocked on the main streets for the famous Buddha’s Birthday parade; lanterns carried by the crowd glow alongside giant figures of dragons, phoenixes, and elephants.

Morning light fills the Seokguram Grotto near Gyeongju; you stand before a serene stone statue of the Buddha—a masterpiece of Silla-era Buddhist art. Later, you ascend the stone terraces of Bulguksa Temple.

A night at Seoraksan promises an unforgettable morning with views of Korea’s most beautiful mountains. In Busan, a high-speed elevator whisks you up to the 100th floor, revealing a magnificent view of the seaside metropolis at night.

INTE What we love about this journey

We love this tour for the opportunity to take part in a spectacular event: the evening Lotus Lantern Parade along Seoul’s Jongno Street, held to mark Buddha’s Birthday, which is celebrated on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month.
