Experience on This Tour

The soft winter sea air of Busan on the Island of Camellias... Only in winter does the island's name truly reveal its meaning: it is in this season that these flowers, the symbols of Busan, bloom. Winter in Korea lacks the usual tourist crowds—Gyeongju, the thousand-year-old capital of Korea, is ready to offer itself to you completely. In Seoul, you might be lucky: rare snow for this dry season may fall and cover the ancient tiled roofs of the palaces.

But perhaps what will be most memorable is the road along a quiet river, over which hang picturesque low mountains that once inspired the famous Jeongseon? Ancient whale drawings from the Stone Age, slightly less ancient inscriptions carved into the rock by rulers of Silla, and the charm of such a Korean landscape may remain your fondest memory of Korea.
