8-Day Seoul, Gyeongju, Busan & Jeonju Autumn Journey

Because Korea's autumn foliage shifts by a week or two each year, we built this eight-day route across six cities and three elevation bands — so the season has to meet you somewhere along the way.

Magic moments

What stays with you

Three nights in Seoul, where past and present move in the same rhythm. A walking tour through the historic city center leads you along the atmospheric streets of Insadong, into the quiet courtyards of Jogyesa Temple, and across the grand grounds of Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Leaving the city behind, the journey slows as it enters Korea’s natural landscapes. Songnisan National Park offers a sense of calm and contemplation, with mountain scenery and Buddhist temples setting a different pace. In Maisan Provincial Park — known as the “Horse Ear Mountains” — unusual rock formations and forest trails create an almost storybook atmosphere.

Jeonju welcomes you with the charm of a traditional city: neatly tiled hanok houses, craft workshops, and the feeling of a living, breathing heritage rather than a museum display.

Busan brings contrast and energy — sea air, vibrant fish markets, coastal neighborhoods, beaches, and striking modern architecture.

Each day unfolds with a shift in mood and scenery, from royal palaces and city streets to mountain parks and quiet provincial towns. This journey is designed for travelers who wish to experience Korea more deeply — through nature, history, and the atmosphere of places remembered not just in photographs, but in feeling.

INTE What we love about this journey
What sets this journey apart for us is its honest answer to a question every autumn traveler asks: when exactly will the leaves peak? Korea's autumn foliage can't be pinned to a date — the window shifts a week or two each year depending on elevation, latitude, and how summer released its grip. Rather than pretending otherwise, we built a route that casts a wide net across different altitudes and regions. The deep mountain forest around Beopjusa temple in Songnisan National Park colors earlier than the coast; the peculiar twin peaks of Maisan — the "Horse Ear Mountains" — hold their palette longer; the hanok-lined lanes of Jeonju and the royal tumuli of Gyeongju offer autumn atmosphere even when the maples are between moments. Eight days, six stops, and the quiet certainty that Korean October and November are worth every clear, low-sun afternoon — with or without peak color.
