Hallim Park, spanning over 300,000 square meters, is the largest park on Jeju Island. Here, you'll find stunning cacti, palm trees, flowers, and other exotic plants, as well as natural lava caves with stalactites and stalagmites — a rarity even among lava caves worldwide.
At the foot of Sanbangsan lies the picturesque Yongmeori Coast (Dragon Head). During low tide, you can stroll along the rocky shore, perhaps encountering local haenyeo (female divers) who might offer freshly caught seafood and a bottle of local soju. Near the entrance to Yongmeori, you'll see a replica of the Dutch East India Company ship, Sperwer, and learn about the first Europeans to set foot in Korea.
Not far away is Senggakhaneun Jeongwon (the Spirited Garden), a unique space where nature and art blend seamlessly, creating a tranquil setting for rest and contemplation.
