You will meet your guide at the hotel and set off on an exciting journey through Jeju. The turquoise sea of the best, according to the Chejudo people, Hyeopje Beach, which is near the largest Hallim Park, will add romanticism to your trip.
Sanbangsan, a small scenic mountain off the west coast of Jeju; on the western slope of the mountain there is a small grotto. You will have to make some effort to get to it - but the view is worth it!
At the foot of Sanbangsan is the picturesque rocky coast of Yeonmori (dragon's head); if the tide is low, you can walk along the coast, and maybe meet local divers who will offer you freshly caught seafood and a bottle of local soju (20-proof vodka).
At the "entrance" to Yeonmori, you'll see a replica of the Dutch West India Company's ship, the Sperwer. And learn how Europeans first came to Korea.
Cheongjiyon Waterfall will continue your journey.
The next stop is the village of Seongeup, which has preserved the features of a village during the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392); peasants still live in the village. In the village, you will get acquainted with the simple architecture of the houses of the indigenous people of Jeju, with the famous gate with three poles and stone lava fences.
Next stop is Seongsan Ilchungbong, Jeju's largest secondary crater, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The picturesque formation is surrounded by the ocean on three sides.
The world's longest lava cave, Manchzhang, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, completes our journey; at present, only part of the cave is open to the public, however, even this part gives an idea of the majestic forces of nature that shaped the island.
