Post: Best Time to Travel to Korea in 2025: Weather, Events, and Prices
Your Detailed Guide to Korea 2025: Highlights of Each Season and All Our Available Tour Programs

Choosing the right time to travel to Korea is not just a question of weather. Seasonal events, national holidays and price fluctuations can significantly affect the experience and budget of your trip. We have prepared a detailed overview for 2025 to help you – or your clients – plan the perfect trip. We also recommend paying attention to ready-made excursion programs with fixed dates, and for individual tourists, choosing adjacent periods when there are fewer tourists and more flexibility.
Spring is one of the most popular times of the year for travel. Cherry blossoms begin to bloom already at the end of March, first in the south (Jeju, Jinhae), then in Seoul and the northern regions. The temperature at this time is comfortable: from +10°C to +20°C. May also pleases with blooming parks and mild weather, although short-term rains may begin at the end of the month. Walking tours, trips to temples and nature parks are especially popular in spring.
Этот тур идеально вписывается в конец весеннего сезона. Для индивидуальных путешествий можно рассмотреть даты в начале мая или первую неделю июня, когда еще не началась летняя жара.
Summer in Korea is hot, humid, and culturally vibrant. June is still a pleasant month before the rainy season. July is the wettest month, and August is when the heat peaks. However, it's a great time to visit the seaside, with beaches in Busan, Jeju, and the east coast filling up with tourists. There are also major festivals and K-pop concerts.
Summer in Korea is a time when warmth envelops everything around, sometimes too intensely, with humidity that penetrates to the very corners of the soul. But it is during this period that a beautiful lotus blooms.
Lotus is a symbol of two great teachings of Northeast Asia - Buddhism and Confucianism. Come to Korea in summer to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of lotus blossoms, taste magical lotus tea and indulge in contemplative meditation.
Our travel program offers a unique opportunity for learning and discovery. A sightseeing tour of Seoul, visiting the notorious Gangnam area and Poeungsa Temple, will allow you to experience the spirit of the city and its historical roots. A journey through the eras, from the Baekje Smile to the Joseon Fortress, will lead you to an understanding of the rich history of the region.
Your journey will also take you to the homeland of the royal clan, through the dolmens of Hwasun County and into the Suncheonman Garden. A sightseeing tour of the ancient capital of Korea, Gyeongju, will reveal even more secrets of history to you. Finally, the Busan Sightseeing Tour will complete your journey with a sense of completeness and satisfaction.
Summer is suitable for both family tours and active youth. Individual trips can be planned in June before the rainy season or at the end of August when the heat subsides.
Autumn is the perfect time to travel: dry weather, comfortable temperatures, and stunning colors of nature. The second half of October is the peak season for autumn leaves, especially in Seoraksan, Jirisan, Seoul, and Gyeongju. Wine and tea festivals and cultural events are often held in autumn. This is the best time for photo tours and leisurely excursion routes.
Please note that we are not the organizers of the festivals included in the tour. As such, we do not hold responsibility for the conduct or organization of the festivals themselves. For the Andong Mask Festival, the dates have already been provided by the official organizers. For the Jinju Lantern Festival, we are basing our information on dates from previous years. Any changes or updates from the festival organizers will be communicated to our clients as soon as possible.
Individual tours are perfect for the second half of October and the second half of November, when there are fewer tourists and prices are soft.
Winter is cold (-5…+5°C in Seoul), short daylight hours, but also a great opportunity for active recreation. In January and February, popular ski resorts in Gangwon-do open. The cities have a New Year's atmosphere, Christmas markets, light shows. Hotel and ticket prices are often lower in December, especially before the winter holidays. The tourist flow decreases, which makes winter a great time for those looking for peace and quiet and good deals.
Solo travel in winter is especially good for couples and those who like a secluded holiday. You can combine skiing with cultural excursions in Seoul or Jeonju.
