What to Expect from a Cruise on the Han River
The Han River flows right through the heart of Seoul; during the day, you can enjoy views of the city from the comfort of a cozy riverboat, and in the evening—from May to September, during the warm season—you can witness the spectacle of the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, the longest fountain in the world located on a bridge, yet another Guinness World Record held by Seoul.
Features of the River Cruise
When embarking on a cruise on the Han River, you will board a cozy boat equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay (including life jackets, just in case you feel like taking a swim). The cruises usually include a route under several of Seoul's famous bridges, each illuminated by lights, creating the impression that you're moving through a field of stars. In the evening, the Banpo Bridge transforms into a rainbow fountain, which is especially impressive after a couple of glasses of wine (one of the cruise options even includes a buffet dinner right on the boat).
N-tower
N-Tower isn’t just an observation deck — it’s a true symbol of Seoul. From the top, the city stretches out beneath you: by day, you can spot Myeongdong and Gangnam; by night, the traffic lights weave a glowing web across the capital.
At the summit, you’ll find "couples’ benches," trees covered in love locks, a multimedia light show projected onto the tower itself — and yes, even a restroom with a panoramic view.
Cars aren’t allowed up the mountain — but we won’t need one. The funicular ride alone feels like a journey into another world.
Namsan Cable Car
The Namsan Cable Car is the perfect way to reach the top of Mount Namsan quickly and enjoy scenic views along the way. The short ride offers stunning panoramas of Seoul, especially magical at sunset or nighttime, when the city lights up. At the summit, you’ll find the famous N Seoul Tower, restaurants, and observation decks. A must-do for anyone looking to blend urban and natural experiences.
