Танян

Танян (단양/丹陽) - буквально, "красное солнце" или "красная сила ян" - живописный район в провинции Северная Чхунчхон, прославившийся своими "Восемью видами Таняна" - необычайно живописными местами, расположенными вдоль течения Южного Хангана, популярными у чосонской аристократии, а также и в настоящее время.

Три скалы, что в речке стоят, вечернего солнца свет...

Из "восьми видов" мы с вами насладимся следующими красотами:

Тодамсамбон - (도담삼봉/島潭三峰) - буквально, "три скалы-оставка в глубокой воде" - место, воспетое в стихах и картинах знаменитых корейских поэтов, мыслителей и художников - Ли Хвана, Ким Чжонхи, Ким Хондона, И Пануна; с этим местом связана легенда об уроженце Таняна, Чон Дочжоне - одном из основателей государства Чосон.
Сокмун - 석문/石門 - буквально, "каменные ворота". Это большая каменная арка, расположенная также на берегу реки Южный Ханган.
Оксунбон - 옥순봉/玉筍峰 - буквально, "Вершина "Нефритовые ростки бамбука". Вообще-то, Оксунбун расположен в уезде Чечхон, а не Танян; в свое время знаменитый И Хван (см. 1000-воновую купюру) просил отнести его к округу Танян; но получил отказ...
Кудамбон - 구담봉/龜潭峰 - буквально, "скала-черепаха в глубокой воде"

Причем, 2 из них - во время прогулки на кораблике по реке Ханган...

Деревня Хахве

Далее мы отправляемся в провинцию Северная Кёнсан, округ Андон, в деревню Хахве, ставшим одним из объектов Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО.

Хахве - деревня, с трех сторон окруженная рекой Нактонган, как бы расположена в петле этой реки; от этой географической особенности и происходит название деревни - буквально "пятля реки".

Хахве знаменита своими сохранившимися и до сих пор используемыми хозяевами старинными домами - как крестьянскими, так и домами аристократов; знаменитым танцем с масками "Тхальчхум", а также и древнейшим сохранившимся набором этих самых деревянных масок для танцев. В 1999 году королева Великобритании Елизавета отметила в деревне свой день Рождения.

Регулярное представление танца с масками будет приятным живым дополнением к экскурсии (представление может не проводиться в данный день, в зависимости от сезона и дня недели).

Todamsambong

Literally, "three rock-leaves in deep water" - a place sung in poems and paintings by famous Korean poets, thinkers and artists - Lee Hwan, Kim Chong-hee, Kim Hongdong, and Panun.

Here, for example, are the poems of the great Yi Hwan, depicted on the one thousandth bill:

山明楓葉水明沙

Yi Hwang (Thwege)

A legend about Jeon Dojon, one of the founders of the Joseon state who was born in Danyang, is associated with this place.

Hahoe Folk Village

Hahoe - a village surrounded on three sides by the Naktong River, as if located in a loop of this river; from this geographical feature comes the name of the village - literally "fifth of the river".

Hahoe is famous for its old houses that have been preserved and are still used by the owners - both peasant and aristocratic houses; the famous dance with masks "Thalchhum", as well as the oldest surviving set of these same wooden masks for dancing. In 1999, Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain celebrated her birthday in the village.

A regular masked dance performance will be a nice live addition to the tour (the performance may not take place on a given day, depending on the season and day of the week).

Stone Gate 石門

Seokmun - 석문/石門 literally means "stone gate". It is a large natural stone arch located on the banks of the South Hangang River.

Andong Hanji (Traditional Korean Paper Factory)

On the way to the village of Hahoe, there is a small factory that produces traditional Korean hanji paper. The plant is open to the general public: you can walk through the workshops and get acquainted with the process of making paper, raw materials.
